I want my hair messy and surfy, yet I straighten it, so cant use 'wet' products as it woul

I want the same kind of look as this http://rawsocket.org/rtfm/images/FreeWin... but dont know how to go about it, especially as my hair is wavy and I need to straighten it. I have been thinking of trying Wella Body Surf Beach Hair, but wasnt sure if it would just make my hair wave after straightening as its in spray form? Tancho Sticks where also a possibility, maybe in conjunction with the Body Surf...any suggestions would be great, as I really want this look!

Get a volumizing hairspray (I recommend Aussie Volumizing) and spray lightly all over and just kind of shake it around with your hands and play with it.

try something like a product called "dirt" its tacky and has a great texture for piecy looks...almost every line carries that kind of product, go professional tho you'll get a better quality

tilt your head upside down and use a brush to scruff it up and use some volumizer

After you dry it and straighten it use hair paste. You can buy it at wal mart or any salon. It works like a glue and you can "mold" your hair.
