My hair extremely thick, curly/wavy, and medium length. I know my layers won't be long for a while, but I really need to thin out the back: it's so poofy it adds about 4 inches to the back of my neck! Please help! It would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Do you want it to be straight?
If you do, use a straightener and then go to a stylist. They might tell you it isn't going to be the best haircut for your face/hair type. I had poofy and curly/wavy hair until about 5th grade when I started straightening it with an straightening iron. I have very choppy layers now, and love my style.

I have wavy curly hair and will not grow it all one length!! I feel like it looks like a bell. You need to go to a stylist who works with curly hair. Plus I am a stylist.
