heres what you do, you cut to about, hmm, a little longer than you shoulders, than you layer it, but not to noticable and about the bangs, i have layers and side swept bangs, but alittle advice on the bangs, they get irratating and give you pimples on your forehead. well, if you want to go with bangs, sure go ahead.

i dont think layers will make your hair seem LESS thick. infact it will look more thicker and add more volume.

but if you really want layers, try getting your hair thinned out first then do it.

also make sure you get long layers, the short ones will be too big for your sort of hair.

trust me, my hair has become thin, so i got my hair layered and it looks so full, thicker and has added so much volume.
