I want a scene hairstyle, but my hair is SUPER curly. Any ideas?

i know i could straighten it, but i've been straightening it for two years now, and it's fried. and plus, it's really hard to straighten it every single day. it takes about an hour.

Treat your hair with a serum or oil of some kind (the ones you leave in for a few mintues) Then do your hair curly! So many guys love a girl with curly hair (much more than straight). Curly hair adds style. Pull up the front section with a few pins and put some kind of curl enhancer, or de-frizzer, in it to make it look like you meant to do it curly. I have wavy hair so I can do it straight or semi-curly (depending on product used) and I love it curly over stick straight and boring. My bf even says he prefers it curly.

Straightening is the only thing I can advice sorry. Although they do have certain products that you can use before and/or after that makes your hair look better and keeps your hair from being burnt.

get a straighening perm there like 75$$$ then you wount have to straighten your hair but i love scene hair its so hot! when you get scene hair make sure you get a big blonde streak and put ratcoon stripes in it! if you dont know what that is look up kiki cannible

i have natural curly hair also. i had long curly hair forever, so i decided to have it pro. straighten...it is so bad for your hair. have have a shorter hair cut now and i straighten it with my curling iron...it looks real good and having it shorter it doesn't take so long to straighten. i know your frustration, but just DONT get it chemically straighten unless you want your hair to break off.

it shouldnt take an hour it should take about 15 minutes if it is down to your feet long then that makessence but if it isnt that long than your hair is fried because your over doing it but if u need any products use herbal essences breaks over leave in cream

I have curly hair too, and i just use a curling iron to straighten it. You shouldn't use a straightener too often, definitely not every day. You could also use shower gel to straighten it before a shower.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "scene", but I can say to condition it with "K-Pac" by Joico. Use this once a week (30 minutes under a cap with heat) , for a month and then try getting your hair chemically straightened either professionally (ask your stylist about the redken product), or by combing permanent wave solution through it and then use the nutralizer. Checmically straightening would work the best, however, it is very drying to your hair.
