Braid out. simple to do.
steps:
-If you want a part, place it in your area of choice
-pick up a chunk of hair, the amount depends on how deep you want the wave texture in your hair to be
-put a setting lotion or wrap foam on hair, you can braid or cornrow hair ( try both methods to see which you like)
-do this a night on freshly washed hair, wrap hair with a silk scarf
-in morning un-braid hair, finger comb, and use oil sheen or hair oil of choice for shine
Thats it no heat, no fuss, last for a couple of days. Easy to redo.

get a regular wrap, I don't know how long your hair is but a roller set is nice a nice loose curl that's pretty. I like stuff like that.
