does anyone have any suggestions on what color i should dye the tips of my hair. Since i dyed my hair black/dark brown ill have to bleach the tips but i dont know what color to do after that.

The hair colour that you have i would pick a burgundy red colour or a dark red. Don't do anything that would be to bright.
