deep conditioner.

Try washing it only every other day. Washing every day, drys your hair out, drying it of it's natural oils.

Use Pantene Time Removal Deep Conditioner once a week, to get rid of damage.

Don't blow dry or straighten your hair for a couple of weeks (sounds hard, I know). In the mean time, scrunch it or find other cute styles that don't require heat tools.

Condition it and stop straightening it so often. It's horrible for your hair, and when I straightened mine it started to fall out! Try using some good conditioning products to go with your straightening if you must continue doing so.

Damaged hair isn't attractive, and when hair needs repair it's quite obvious. It tends to be frizzy, out of control, and it's very brittle. Hair sometimes requires repair due to a number of reasons, from harsh chemical treatments to improper care, but it is possible to repair your out of control damaged hair. Although nothing short of cutting will completely repair damaged hair, the following methods of repair will help you improve the quality, texture, and strength of your damaged hair.

Egg Yolk and Olive Oil Conditioner

Make sure you get the ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks..Try not to wash it every day.. But usually every other day.. Lay off on the straightening and leave it naturally or curl it.. Go off and on from straight to natural and your hair will be much better off without all of that heat from styling tools.

Also..I recommend the Neutrogena triple moisture deep recovery hair mask..You can get it at any drugstore and it's not expensive.

Do that 1-2 times a week and it makes your hair soo soft and strong.

And of course make sure you have a good quality shampoo and conditioner that is rich and will keep your hair strong.

Hope I Helped :)

First of all, dont straighten it every day. Your hair needs a break every once and a while. Deep condition it in the shower, and buy a leave in conditioner for when you get out of the shower. Also buy a protective shield spray for when you are straightening your hair. You just spray your hair, then straighten. It keeps your hair safe from breaks and burns. You can find them at any store like a pharmacy of walmart. Good luck! 閳?br>My hair is thick and damaged from straightning, any ideas on how to restore it back to normal?

Definatly get a haircut. I was in the exact same

situation and my mom took me to get a haircut

(layers, angled, and side bangs) and it made

my hair so much healthier. Also, only shampoo

your hair every other day (or shower) to keep

the natural oils in your hair balanced, and so your

hair won't be dry. Good luck!

Go to makeupalley.com and find a well-rated restorative/healing shampoo %26amp; conditioner set and buy it somewhere. I would also deep condition once or twice per week. If you wrap a towel around your head while deep conditioning the effects are that much better. if you can help it, I would probably not straighten or even blow-dry your hair for the next couple weeks!

When you do straighten your hair, put in a protective spray or gel beforehand and make sure you use a high-quality straightener like Chi.

hot oil treatment works great and deep conditoning with heat blowing on it while you have a shower cap on works well too

Okay! I'm an expert on conditioning because I have thick hair damaged from heating tools AND I love to dye it crazy colours. :P So you need a deep conditioner (Bumble %26amp; Bumble Deeep閳?is amazing! It's expensive, but so worth it). You have to leave that in for 20 minutes after you're finished shampooing and conditioning your hair. Then you wash it out. To keep yourself from getting bored during those 20 minutes, shave your legs/underarms/bikini area. That's what I do, and it makes the 20 minutes fly by! :D When conditioning, most people just rub it in and wash it out in two seconds, but that is actually extremely ineffective; in fact, using that method is like not using conditioner at all! So leave your conditioner in for 10-15 minutes, and while you're waiting for THAT to sink in, you can scrub yourself head to toe with Epsom salts and soap to achieve TRULY clean skin! (Just make sure you moisturize after you are dried off from the shower, or else your skin will be dry.) Hope I helped! ;D
