my daughter had her first communion may 5. i took her to the salon and they curled sections of her hair and then sprayed it. then she pulled the front back to make a pony tail and curled that too. then they placed the headpiece and veil on and pinned it altogether. it was beautiful. it definitely would have lasted all day with the tons of hair spray but my daughter did not want to wear the headpiece at lunch so she took it out. the curls though lasted thru to the next day when she took a shower. good luck and congratulations!
